BOMA-ATLANTA NEWS
Hillside to Honor BOMA-Atlanta. Since the BOMA-Atlanta Community Service Committee adopted Hillside in 2004, BOMA volunteers have helped provide more than $60,000 in donations, goods, and services to Atlanta's oldest organized charity. In recognition of contributions such as these, Hillside will be dedicating the art room in its John Conant school building to BOMA-Atlanta on October 26. This is the first time in BOMA-Atlanta's history that we have been recognized in this way. Although the gazebo and landscaping projects have ended, you can still volunteer to help with Hillside's annual Pumpkin Patch Sale, which runs through October 31, contact Cindi Cooper at ccooper@hside.org. Property managers can also help create a recurring revenue stream for Hillside by donating 10 to 20 percent of their lobby event proceeds to Hillside; for more information, contact Annette Gorelick with Ruppert Nurseries at agorelick@ruppertcompanies.com.
Sports Outing a Sold-out Success. A big thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors, staff and attendees that made the 2007 BOMA-Atlanta Sports Outing presented by Choate Interior Construction a success! The sold-out event saw record numbers of golf and tennis tournament participants at Chateau Elan. Despite the morning rain, the October 5 outing was fun for all, with a fun awards dinner and tons of prizes.
