or call 404-475-9980. Nominations are due by October 11.
Looking
for a Job? There

engineers, 4 facility
management positions, and 6 property
management jobs. Be sure to watch the job
bank often for new positions.
Trade
Show Huge Success. By any measure, this year's
BOMA Trade Show, held in August, was the best ever. We had more
than 1,000 property manager, facility manager and building engineer
attendees by far our largest show attendance ever. With more than
190 exhibiting companies on hand, the show also provided a great
way to review the spectrum of products and services available for
buildings. Many of the exhibitors also offered great prizes, totaling
more than $8,000. Next year, the trade show moves to May to allow
members to review products and services before budgeting season
begins. We understand how difficult it can be to break away from
the office during budgeting, and we hope this change will allow
even more property managers, facility managers and building engineers
to attend in the future. Prize winners: Bev Hartmann, TPA Realty
Services; Ken McKnight, AIU; Bill Crawford, Pope and Land; Anita
Scarborough, TPA Realty Services; Monterio Baugh, CARTER; Stephanie
Thurman, CARTER; Karlton Holston, CBRE; Ken Sheffield, Solvay; Chuck
Morris, Parkway Realty Services; Jennifer Sandford, CBRE; Shoni
Thomas, Jackson Oats Shaw; Terry Davis, CBRE; Natasha Sewell, Cousins
Properties Incorporated; Lee Sartain, TPA Realty; Kim Eginton, CBRE.

a panel of property managers will discuss how allied members may
effectively do business within BOMA. They will share their insights
related to contract negotiation and renewal; building relationships;
how property managers select vendors; how property managers review
RFPs; and other topics. The seminar is open to allied members, property
managers and facility managers. A drawing for prizes will be held

Rooftop
Antennas: Maximizing Revenue Wisely Seminar.
(Sept. 28) Model rooftops in Atlanta generate
more than $350,000 in annual revenue that largely goes to the bottom
line. With the changes in the telecommunications industry and the
popularity of wireless technologies, there will be increasing demand
for rooftop space. This seminar will provide you with insights related
to the rooftop market, current pricing, licensing issues, regulatory
compliance & safety. Regardless of your building height, location
or condition, antennas can play an important role for your building.
