Upcoming Opportunities
There are many opportunities for you to get involved and volunteer through BOMA-Atlanta’s Community Service Committee (CSC).

BOMA/Hillside Mountain Outing
This annual event involves meeting the Hillside children and staff at a ranch in the north Georgia mountains outside of Ellijay. The children have an opportunity to ride horses, play in a creek, hike trails and engage in a number of outdoor activities like playing golf, croquet, soccer and tug-of-war. Volunteers can help for the entire day or just in the morning or afternoon, or they can help set up, monitor, administer or clean up. For more information, please contact Patti Brown with ServPro at pbrown@servpro8537.com.

Lobby Events: The CSC started the lobby events program over two years ago with a goal of creating a substantial recurring revenue stream for Hillside. The CSC Lobby Events sub-committee chair, Annette Gorelick with Ruppert Nurseries, will continue to contact property managers who would like to participate by donating 10 to 20 percent of their lobby event proceeds to Hillside. For more information, or to donate a portion of your lobby event proceeds to Hillside, contact Annette Gorelick at agorelick@ruppertcompanies.com.

Reading Program:  There is still an opportunity to commit to reading to Hillside children every other week. This opportunity gives volunteers a chance to see firsthand the changes that can come over the children through the transformative power of Hillside’s programs. To make a commitment to volunteer every other Friday at 12:30 p.m., please contact Joe Clark with Hillside at jclark@hside.org.
