A new interpretation of elevator lobby code is causing many high-rise building owners and managers in Sandy Springs financial and construction challenges. This is your chance to give back to the community. The Community Service Committee has teamed up with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Senior Citizen Services and Hands on Atlanta to sponsor the "Pricewaterhouse Coopers Senior Home Blitz."The one-day event, on June 1, will improve the quality of life for several low-income Atlanta senior citizens. Learn how to inventory equipment, sequence equipment for optimal performance, and record management and measurement and verification. UPCOMING EVENTS Senior Home Blitz. (June 1) BTO Luncheon. This educational program has been designed specifically for building engineers. The same program will be presented on June 1 at the Loudermilk Center and June 8 at the AGC office in Marietta. The program will be on building automation systems. All members are required to pre-register for the specific week they will attend. Members may not swap dates. BOMA Luncheon. (June 14) The luncheon will be at the World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta. The featured speaker will be a representative from the Beltline Project. BOMA International Convention. (June 24-27) The North American Commercial Real Estate Congress and The Office Building Show will be June 24-27 in Dallas. |
