BOMA-Atlanta is committed to helping members stay on the cutting edge of green industry trends. That's why we're offering the following helpful information.
BOMA 7-Point Challenge
BOMA members are transforming the marketing by embracing BOMA International's 7-Point Challenge. In July 2007, BOMA International launched the Market Transformation Energy Plan and 7-Point Challenge to reduce energy consumption in commercial buildings by 30 percent by 2012.
Since that time the response has been extremely positive, with 100 BOMA member companies and BOMA local associations endorsing the 7-Point Challenge and making improved energy performance a priority across company portfolios throughout the country. View the list of 7-Point Challenge Endorsers

EPA Launches State and Local Sustainability Resource page
State and local governments across the country are embracing EPA's ENERGY STAR tools as a means to reduce energy use in commercial buildings. To assist in monitoring these efforts, the EPA has launched a Web site (www.energystar.gov/government) detailing those states and cities pursuing mandates to address energy efficiency in buildings.
Find Energy Efficiency Incentives in Georgia
The Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Energy (DSIRE) is a Web site where commercial real estate professionals can access information on federal and state-administered renewable energy and energy efficiency incentives. An excellent resource for property professionals implementing green and sustainable initiatives, the site is updated daily and hosts a variety of ways to search, including by incentive type, by renewable energy or energy efficiency technology, by implementing sector (federal, state, local or utility), or by eligible sector (commercial, industrial, residential, etc).
