The rapid pace of change in today’s commercial real estate environment demands that the managers of today become the leaders of tomorrow. To address this shift, BOMA-Atlanta has created the BOMA-Atlanta Leadership Academy.
The Leadership Academy is a certificate program designed for all property and facility managers, and for building engineers who have management responsibilities. BOMA-Atlanta membership is required to participate in the Academy.
The five-part series of full-day courses will taught by MBA professors to provide in-depth training in the following:
- leadership development/developing self-awareness
- time and stress management
- negotiation skills
- creating a motivating work environment
Applications for 2011 are now being accepted! A class of 20 participants will be selected for the 2011 Leadership Academy. To apply for the academy, download and complete a PDF application or a Word application and fax it to (404) 475-9987. Applications are due Feb. 25, 2011.
